Cartoon is great and true. One reason DOT gives for removing trees along I95 is that they’re (the trees) causing drivers who run off the road and collide with the trees to be killed. Hogwash: the drivers are fools, drunk, sleepy, stupid, or all of the above. Removing trees to add additional lanes is one thing; another is to accuse trees of jumping up and out to kill motorists.
