MYSTERY PHOTO: Sticking with the old store theme

Yep, it’s a third week of a mystery of an old store.  Any idea where this one is?  Hmmm, wonder if it is a “country” store?  Send your best guess to:  feedback@statehousereport.com and make sure to include your name and hometown.  If possible, write “Mystery Photo” in the subject line.

In the last issue, we featured a photo by Linda W. Brown of an old country store in Williamsburg County north of Kingstree on S.C. Highway 527.  It was familiar to Don Clark of Hartsville, who wrote, “Don’t remember the name, but I’ve stopped by there several times over the years.”

It’s called Workman Grocery, which three other readers identified.  Hats off also to George Graf, Palmyra, Va.; Dale M. Rhodes, Richmond, Va.;  and Randal Smith of Pamplico, S.C.

Send us a mystery:  If you have a photo that you believe will stump readers, send it along (but make sure to tell us what it is because it may stump us too!)  Send to:  feedback@statehousereport.com and mark it as a photo submission.  Thanks.
