Special to Statehouse Report  |  In the days after Hurricane Matthew slammed and skirted South Carolina’s coast causing millions of dollars of damage, S.C. Department of Transportation photographers Cody Crouch and Rob Thompson traveled throughout the Pee Dee, Grand Strand and Lowcountry documenting the power of the storm.  Here are 10 photos culled from hundreds that show the impact of the natural disaster on infrastructure, the landscape and lives.
