Peter Skewes of Clemson, a presidential candidate for the American Party, will end a 240-mile campaign trek from him hometown in Charleston at 5 p.m. Saturday at South End Brewery. Party chair Jim Rex of Fairfield County notes, “240 miles of walking in this record and near record heat is a testament to the fact that the American Party has an ability to attract a different type of person to run for public office.”
