IN THE SENATE
Alimony. S. 1169 (Gregory) seeks to provide two new forms of alimony and change the definition of cohabitation, with several provisions. S. 1170 (Gregory) is a related measure that deals with alimony awards.
State grand jury. S. 1174 (Young) appears to seek to expand the jury to look into insurance fraud, with several provisions.
Architects. S. 1177 (Alexander) seeks to amend architect training requirements for licensing related to internships and experience.
IN THE HOUSE
Anthem. H. 5095 (King) seeks to designate “Dum Spiro Spero” as the state’s official anthem.
Prisoner rights. H. 5098 (Henegan) seeks to add a Prisoner’s Bill of Rights, with several provisions. H. 5120 (Alexander) seeks a method to allow an inmate who has been incarcerated for at least 15 years with a way to petition a court for a sentence reduction.
Business licenses. H. 5109 (Bingham) seeks to standardize business license taxes, with several provisions.
Free, umm … H. 5110 (McKnight) seeks to require public buildings to supply feminine hygiene products in female restaurants for free.
